Youngsters sign new deals at Palace

CRYSTAL Palace teenagers Sean Scannell and Lee Hills both signed new deals at the club.

Scannell had reportedly been a target for Manchester City , but the 17-year-old has ended rumours of a move by signing his first professional contract.

Hills, also 17, has agreed an extension to his current deal, keeping him at Palace until the summer of 2010.

Hills told the SLP: "This gives me a bit of stability for the next two-and-a-half-years.

"Hopefully I can cement my first-team place and get more experience during that period."
