Leeds ready to let Derry go

Leeds ready to let Derry go

Leeds have stated they want a fee for Shaun Derry, as his loan spell ends this weekend with Crystal Palace.

Palace could seek to take over Derry's contract without paying Leeds a transfer fee but Wise said: 'I have spoken to Palace's manager Neil Warnock, and our chief executive Shaun Harvey will be talking to Simon Jordan to try to sort out a fee.

Derry has blown his chances with Leeds No 1 Dennise Wise after refusing to return to help Leeds out on Jan 1st.

'I am not bothered whether Shaun Derry comes back or not, though I would like to sit down with him and discuss a few things. I am still disappointed in him.'
