'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Warnock told Watson he could go!

Neil Warnock told Palace star Ben Watson he could leave the club just weeks after taking control at Selhurst Park.

It seems to have worked as Ben has been outstanding ever since, which has helped Palace shoot up the Championship to with in a whisker of automatic promotion.

Imagine though if it had backfired and Watson decided to go, what would of happened to Palace then?????

Warnock told the Local Guardian: 'I think the best thing I did was tell him he could leave - since then he's been a revelation.

'I didn't think he was performing and I thought it would be better for both parties if we went separate ways - but since then he's been super in training and instrumental in our rise up the table.

Palace are in the play offs and could make auto promotion, so why not join up and join in?
