Freedman Back !

Derby travel to mid table Crystal Palace Sunday hoping to snatch a place in the top two.
Derby have been a force in the championship this season and deserve a top two place, but first they must overcome a Palace side which look like coming back to near full strenth.

Vital Quotes:

Dougie Freedman is back for Crystal Palace's final match of the season, which is a major boost for the mid-table club.
Freedman is expexted to sign a new contract at Selhurst which hopefully will tie him to the club till 2009

Crystal Palace Team News:

The veteran striker has overcome a niggling ankle injury and hopes to lead the Eagles' front line.

Winger Paul Ifill came through the midweek reserve team win at Millwall after shaking off illness and is in contention for a start.

Stuart Green (shoulder) and Michael Hughes (ankle) are both still on the Selhurst treatment table.
So should be an opening for Freedman, but who will make way, out of Kugi,Morrison and Scowcroft, with Grabban,Martin and Ifill on the bench.

Player to watch: Dougie Freedman

On his day, deadly in front of goal, also a great team player, good thinker, and good passer of the ball.

Derby County Team News:

Derby keeper Stephen Bywater sits the game out with a ban after getting sent off against Ipswich Town last week. Lee Camp has been recalled from his loan spell at QPR to step in.

Derby defender Darren Moore is also suspended, while Michael Johnson is out with a pulled hamstring.

Player to watch: Giles Barnes

Great young talent, straight in from the youth set up, and isnt shy in front of goal.
