Referee:

Palace, like we did last time out against Liverpool, had to come from a goal down on Saturday afternoon when we faced Swansea City but on this occasion we couldn't complete the turnaround and had to be content with a point in the 1-1 draw at the Liberty Stadium.

The game started with a cricket bat and cap being carried out onto the field by Mile Jedinak as a mark of respect to his Australian countryman Phillip Hughes, who was tragically killed in a cricket match a few days before.

Swansea stated brightly and thought that had a penalty when Neil Taylor went down in the box, but this was waved away. Wilfried Bony twice had chances and Gylfi Sigurdsson was close with a freekick before Bony (15) finally did breakthrough, as he beat Julian Speroni.

A string of corners finally resulted in Jonjo Shelvey adjudged to have fouled Marouane Chamakh, giving us a penalty. Jedinak (25) smashed this down the middle to level it up at one-one.

Both sides had further chances, but the better of them went to Swansea but their failure to make the most of these opportunities meant that it ended in a one-one draw, which we'll be far happier with I'm sure!
