Prem - Palace 2-1 Tottenham
Palace came from behind on Saturday evening to secure a two-one win over Spurs at Selhurst to give Alan Pardew a dream start to his Premier League reign for us, a win that moved us out of the relegation zone.
The first half was limited in clear-cut chances but had seen both Eriksen for the visitors and Murray, denied by a fine Lloris save when put clean through, both go close in the goalless first half.
Shortly after the break though Spurs took the lead as the in-form Kane (49) broke into the box to fire past Speroni.
After being denied, what he thought was a first half penalty, when Gayle went down in the box he had the chance to draw us level with a little over 20-minutes to play when Stambouli brought down Ledley. Gayle (69) made no mistake as he beat Spurs 'keeper Lloris low into the corner.
Having been forced to weather some Spurs pressure, as they retained the ball, we then started to apply some pressure of our own with Zaha making an impact and some 10-minutes after our equaliser, and 10-minutes from time, Zaha set up Puncheon (80) who placed the ball into the corner to give us a two-one lead.
Spurs had a late penalty appeal themselves turned away when Ledley tangled with Kane as we saw out the win that saw Selhurst erupt!
